❝My name is Indu. I'm a full time house wife. My days goes by just taking care of the family members and children. After the Covid -19 lockdown in India everyone was at home, that time I started making masks as there was not much household chores were required to be done. I made several designs and finally came to this designs as it fits the best and it's good for long term use. I realised masks will be in trend for a long time and surgical masks are a waste to the environment and also people have sweat and breath issues when the use the single layer no woven surgical mask, thinking about the alternatives and studying the market we started with reusable cotton cloth masks. Later, I myself got bored of single plain white and black masks so tried printed cloths and it worked well. They are selling in numbers and people want many prints to match there outfits. As the markets are opening up its important for everyone to use masks and protection as we have to live with the disease until the vaccine arrives.❞

She helps us marking and hand cutting these beautiful masks and also stitch them. She has aesthetic sense to do handwork even, be it adorning garments with beads or altering them to customer needs. In this pandemic time, she is doing her bit for her family and we as a small work family trying to pull through this tough time. God bless the work of her hands and the one using her handmade products.❞

❝We saw the urgency of using masks to protect yourself until the vaccines will be found. Then, we start to make design to make it less bored and more interesting since we need to wear it every day. My Mom (merry) and me (Felicia) we design and drafting the pattern. After that my Dad (Joni) who make the design into digital , so the machine could have the data digitally (we use automatic machine). Next, after the sample is done, we do the production. Then my brother (Leo) and I in charge for doing Quality control after it's done and sells the item. We are not only making a fabric mask, but we also do custom embroidery on clothes in mass production.❞

❝From a very young age I saw how to embroider my grandmother and my mother, I liked it since I was 7 years old. I like to go to see flowers and see photographs of birds to embroider them. The pattern on cotton was made with the machine but I also embroider the bird on the face masks.❞
